At Monarch Waugh Chapel, we care about your community. We encourage residents to go explore and have some fun in Anne Arundel County! There are tons of activities to do this September, so go grab some friends and family and look forward to the upcoming autumn days!
Since 1989, the Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce has been hosting its Farmer’s Market on September 18th and the 25th from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m! So, after a long, hard day, skip visiting your grocery store and get the best produce and goods, while supporting local businesses! Vendors will be offering freshly grown and cultivated: produce, meats, dairy, and breads. There will also be gorgeous flowers, specialty foods, collectibles, and crafts available for purchase.
September 18th will be the 3rd Annual Dog Show and Pet Fair. Look forward to the cute and furry contestants! There will also be a Dog Pie Eating Contest. If you would like to sign-up your furry companion, you can do so here!
September 25th’s theme will be Jammin’ on the Green/Young Entrepreneurs. So, come down and enjoy some live music! If you have children, get them involved at the local booths that will be set up with educational activities and training. It will be fun and free for all!

On Sunday, September 28th from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., the Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce and Primrose School of Gambrills is encouraging everyone and anyone of all ages to come out and have a great time! Come enjoy some live music, amazing food trucks, local vendors, craft-making, and bull-riding. So, take a day to support local businesses while going out with your friends and family.

Originally a part of the Saturday Night Summer Concert Series, the concert with The Eric Scott Band has been moved to Thursday, September 19th from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.! Look forward to great weather for this outdoor concert at the Waugh Chapel Towne Center. Bring some friends and family to this free concert and enjoy the beer and wine gardens sponsored by the Bonefish Grille! Also, kids are welcome!
On Saturday, September 21st from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., and Sunday, September 22nd from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., Massage Envy it hosting free Wellness Weekends! Head out for the day to receive a bit of luxury and zen—right here in Gambrills! Look forward to RTR Therapy, stretch therapy sessions, a custom skin-analysis from licensed estheticians. Bring your friends and family to this free event for some self-care and relaxation.
On Saturday, September 28th from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Frisco’s TapHouse is hosting its 4th Annual Oktoberfest-fest! Crofton is serving German delights right outside of Monarch Waugh Chapel apartments! Come enjoy over 30 autumn drafts and beers. while sampling German-inspired cuisine. Anyone and all are welcome, so don’t miss out on the various prize raffles!
