Halloween is around the corner and if you are living at Monarch Waugh Chapel, you may want to know what is going on around town this Halloween. In the age of COVID, many things about holidays may be up in the air. However, the following events are here this year and will get you in the Halloween spirit.
Halloween Kids Night Out
Friday, October 30th, 7PM-10PM
Platinum Force Athletics, Address: 1651 Crofton Boulevard, Suite 8-9, Crofton, MD
The kids can enjoy Halloween this year at Platinum Force Athletics. This year, the party is for kids aged 5-13 and entry fees will be $25 a person. Inside the party, your kid will be able to enjoy pizza, drinks, candy, and lots of fun games. So, get your kid dressed up in their costume and head over to Platinum Force for a good time!
Movie Night- Nightmare Before Christmas

Chesepiooc Real Ale Brewery, Address: 2408 Crofton Boulevard, Crofton, MD
If you enjoy Halloween movies, this may be the right way to spend your Halloween night. The Chesepiooc Real Ale Brewery is playing Nightmare Before Christmas. Any kids attending will be given free candy by the staff to enjoy during the movie. Just remember to bring your own blankets or chairs to sit on during the showing.
Art-O-Ween Workshop

Picture the Good: Studio + Workshop, Address: 1686 Village Green, Crofton, MD
If you’re looking to get crafty this Halloween, then look no further than the Art-O-Ween Workshop. To start the workshop, you will learn about famous artists Edvard Munch and Vincent Van Gogh. Then, you’ll be creating your own Halloween-themed versions of their art. Classes will take place outdoors and you are encouraged to wear your costume.
LYTE Halloween Night

The LYTE Run Club is hosting their own Halloween party this year. At Percy Sussex Field, the kids will love running around in their costumes and they can also race against parents. Masks and registration for the event is required. The cost of registration will be $10 per family. There will be chances to win prizes and everyone will be leaving with a Boo Bags.
Howllaween Fear Factor & Costume Parade

Eco Adventures, Address: 216 Najoles Road, Millersville, MD
If you would like to celebrate your Halloween with Eco Adventures, they have a special Halloween celebration for their guests. They will be hosting a fear factor game that involves fake snakes, goblins, and spiders. Following that, they will have a break to have a Halloween costume parade for prizes. Fall CAR-nival

Looking to enjoy a carnival atmosphere this year for Halloween? Look no further than Grace Pointe Communities Fall Car-nival. At this carnival, you and your family will be able to enjoy costumes, games, and all the candy your heart desires. This carnival will have drive-thru fun with the kids as well social-distanced fun in the parking lot.
Halloween Dinner on West Street, Annapolis Md

West Street in Annapolis will be hosting a night of outdoor dining at many of the great restaurants Annapolis has to offer. You are more than welcome to wear your costume while dining. Do not forget to check out the #GreatAnnapolisPumpkins that will be at St. Anne’s and Lemongrass. Feel free to take your picture with these massive pumpkins too. If you are looking to create some art there will be a painting experience at Wine and Design. Escape Rooms are also a fun way to celebrate this holiday and there will be one available at Mission Escape Rooms. Lastly, live music will be available on the street from 6PM to 9PM.
Halloween Comic-Fest 2020

Third Eye Comics, Address: 209 Chinquapin Round Road, Annapolis, MD
For all comic book lovers, there will be a comic book fest at Third Eye Comics. Make sure to break out your costumes and swing by the store. While at the store, you can enjoy the following prizes: one free comic, 20% off all graphic novels and manga, 20% off all toys and statues, and 20% off all board games as well as miniatures. If you come to the store in costume you’ll be able to leave with a Trick-R-Treat bag filled with candy and comics. Lastly, first in line at the store will receive a free T-Shirt.
Halloween Drive-In Movie

Pip Moyer Recreation Center at Truxtun Park, 273 Hilltop Lane, Annapolis, MD
Come by the drive in movie theater and be sure to decorate your vehicle for a prize. Each child attending to see Hocus Pocus will be greeted with a goodie bag and a popcorn bag. All interested attendees must pre register and it will cost $10 per vehicle. Outside bathrooms will be available.
Halloween Brunch aboard Schooner Woodwind
Saturday, October 31, 2020 At 11 AM – 1 PM
80 Compromise St, Annapolis, MD
Come aboard the woodwind for a Halloween-themed brunch cruise. Costumes are encouraged aboard the ship. Included in this cruise is: 2 alcoholic beverages, bagged brunch from the Lighthouse Bistro, a soda, and a water. The brunch menu will be Halloween-themed in the spirit of the holiday. The pricing will be the following: 2 person zone ~ $190.00 (for 2 guests), 4 person zone ~ $380.00 (for 4 guests), and 6 person zone ~ $570.00 (for 6 guests).
