Rutabaga recently stopped by Monarch Waugh Chapel to deliver us some of their delicious vegan treats. Our property manager, Kara, stated, “Rutabaga was so good. Definitely recommend to everyone in the Crofton area! We sampled the avocado toast, peanut butter banana toast, cold pressed juice, and one of their berry smoothies. It was all so good and so fresh!”
What is Rutabaga?
Rutabaga Juicery & Eats began in 2015 with husband and wife duo, Jim and Stacey, and only two employees. They wanted to show the world that minimally-processed and healthy food and drinks do not have to be inconvenient or “hard to come-by.”
So, Rutabaga was designed to compete with unhealthy and hard-to-digest fast food spots! Their menu is great for your gut, schedule, and wallet!
Since then, Rutabaga has grown to two locations and built a following! Today, they continue to utilize nutrient rich, plant-based, and fresh ingredients.
Tasty Treats You HAVE To Try
In a rush? Their Breakfast Smoothie with almond butter, oats, banana, spices, honey, and homemade cashew milk is absolutely mouth-watering. Or, try their simplistic Refresh Smoothie with mango, coconut water, and pineapple. Yum!
Beyond smoothies, you must try their cold-pressed juices. They’re positively delightful, refreshing…and the perfect way to hydrate! We recommend their Nectar Juice with watermelon, pineapple, strawberry, green apple, and mint!
