We hope that everyone is safe and well during these trying times.
Monarch at Waugh Chapel wants to celebrate everything that we love about the Gambrills area and Maryland, from home.
To further our sense of community, we hope that you’ll choose to support local businesses and operations. So, here’s some fun things you can do, while sustaining local, from the comfort of your luxurious apartment home here at Monarch.
“Eating Out,” from Home
Who said eating-in had to be boring? Not us! Order out, support local, and dine in with these great nearby options offering some unique experiences.
Frisco’s limited menu is available for pick-up. They are also offering a Brew-Thru, so make sure you check out their drink menu! Don’t want to wait? Call (443) 292-4075 with an exact time, and your food/drinks will be delivered right to your car!
Order from your local favorite for pick-up when ready or a pre-scheduled time.
You can also order a Half-Baked Ledo Pizza that you can finish cooking in your oven at Monarch!
Your New Gym Partner
The gym may not be open, but that’s okay! You can workout from home in your spacious and comfortable apartment. With a phone or laptop, you can easily do these virtual workouts.
Jazzercise Crofton Fitness Center
Jazzercise will be offering fun cardio classes online by going live on their Facebook page. Stay updated with their Instagram @jazzerciseinc, for upcoming sessions and schedules.

Every Saturday, until August, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., the DCJF will be publishing never-seen-before content onto their Youtube page. There will be behind-the-scenes videos with the artists, as well as live performances.
You can support local artists here.
Live Virtual Tours of the Edgar Allan Poe House
There will be ongoing, live virtual tours of the Edgar Allen Poe House throughout May and June, (they typically occur on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays). The Poe House may be closed, but you may still have a guided walk-through of the house via Zoom. Stick around for a discussion on Poe’s mysterious and “unsolved” death.
This event may be free, but you can still support the Poe House and its staff by purchasing clothing, key chains, paper texts, and more.
Until November, Chesepiooc Real Ale Brewery is hosting free-to-play Music Bingo every Wednesday, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. Come listen to some good music and support local nonprofits.
