If you’ve been missing Crofton Southbound Produce, you’re in luck—they’re open again! If you haven’t been to this family-owned and -operated gem, now is the time. They’ve been a staple in the area for all your fresh produce needs since 1975, and while their setup is simple it’s one of the best in the area.
Each day they set up rows and rows of fresh fruits and vegetables to browse, some local and some sourced from farmers in other areas. On any given day you’ll find different varieties with options like okra, greens, plums, peaches, blueberries, peppers, zucchini, melons, corn, green beans, and more. They also have a huge variety of McCutcheon’s Apple Products shipped in often from Frederick, MD. You’ll find tasty preserves and marmalades, honey, BBQ sauce, pasta sauce, cider, sodas, and more. You never know what you’ll find, so just go browse!
They do close from time to time due to bad weather, but you can check their Facebook page for updates on that.
